Are you our next electrical engineer?
We are looking for an electrical engineer to join our team in Fjordtec!
Fjordtec is an independent marine engineering and consultancy company, situated in Ulsteinvik, Norway. The recent decades, we have been delivering services within the electro/power and ship automation field. We work with a wide range of customers and projects. The recent years we have built up an enhanced environmental green oriented competence focusing on new technologies like energy storage systems, alternative low emission energy sources and new drive line systems.
Key accountabilities
Perform inspections, audits and tests on and off site
Contribute to analysis and verification of marine electrical systems
Execute customer deliveries within electrical engineering documentation
Contribute socially and professionally to our team
Qualifications and experience
Degree within electrical- or automation engineering
Experience from working in project organizations
Familiar with design of Load analysis, Single Line Diagrams, I/O lists, Electrical installation drawings, Cable lists and System drawings
Familiar with FMEA and SRtP is an advantage
Practical experience from maritime industry is an advantage
Skills in Autocad and/or 3D-CAD systems, as well as MS-Office programs

Strong technical skills
You are a “doer” and act on own initiative
Efficient problem-solving skills
Good communication skills, in addition to Norwegian at least English is required
You work well both independent and in teams
