Fjord Technology launched

Dear customers and cooperative parties,

We would like to take this opportunity to update our cooperative parties regarding Fjord Technology AS.

Fjord Technology AS, Fjordtec as the brand name, was founded in the summer of 2020 by former employees of Kleven Maritime Technology (KMT) after the closing of Kleven Verft.

Fjordtec acquired all its assets from KMT which made it possible to continue operations towards the same customers and markets including all operating assets and document-file archives onboard. Fjordtec will subsequently act as a freestanding company without any bindings.

We will continue our focus in the same fields with the same experienced crew onboard. Our expertise previously developed over decades will be maintained and continue in the best interest of customers, cooperative parties and collaborators. Moreover, we intend to act as a highly valuable contributor to the marine industry and cluster surrounding us.

New fields are arising based on the increasing demand and dependency for marine technological exchanges from on-board to onshore technologies. These new demands are already clearly visible in many fields, e.g. shore connection plants, development of new ‘green’ energy sources, land-based fish farming etc., just to name a few. Fjordtec intends on continuing taking part and expanding in these common interfaces between sea and land.

We are committed and passionate about what we do and we are strongly motivated to deliver what our customers require through communication along with mutual trust and respect.
